Slowly and carefully, with the case all the way into the die and the handle of the press at full travel, adjust the seating stem to just touch the test rounds bullet. Lock the stem down. Run a few more cases and bullets through the die to verify you got it right. WebI have the same problem on my hornady 308 bullet seater. There are some videos showing what to use sandpaper on to reduce the visibility of the ring. I tried it and it helped a little bit. Youtube "ring on bullet" and you should find some answers.
